Biography:
Erika E. Peterson is a partner at Lobb & Cliff. She was a summer associate with Lobb & Cliff in 1999. Ms. Peterson has worked on multi-million dollar acquisition deals for major real estate developers in the Riverside and San Diego markets and provides comprehensive tax and financial planning for these high net-worth clients. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Middle Market tax practice, serving closely held businesses and high net-worth individuals.
Ms. Peterson holds a degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona earning her degree in Finance, Real Estate and Law. Ms. Peterson went on to attend the University of Southern California Law School and the Leventhal School of Accounting, earning her juris doctor and Master in Business Taxation. She was awarded the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence Award and graduated in the top of her class in her master’s program.
In conjunction with her advising for estate and asset protection planning, Ms. Peterson developed the Advanced Trust Tutorial. This tutorial presents a comprehensive view of available trust techniques of general applicability. She has also taught for the National Business Institute on the topics of estate planning and asset protection.
Ms. Peterson is a member of The State Bar of California and its Taxation section and the Riverside County Bar Association. She is pursuing her Certified Public Accountant license, holds her real estate broker license and is a member of the California Association of Realtors.
